R2W Terms and Conditions
Eligibility Criteria
1. Every candidate who was successfully referred by an employee through the referral portal, and is registered in the referral database for an agent, administrative (or managerial position), is considered eligible for the referral program.
2. Referrals can be sent for both agent and Administrative positions, as long as they are available through the referral portal.
3. A referral will be officially assigned to you if your friend has not applied through any other source in the past 6 months, or been referred by another team member in the past 6 months.
4. Once a referral is assigned to you, it will be your referral for 6 months (for an agent position) or 12 months (for an administrative position). This is called the “Referral Validity Period”. This means the potential referral bonus will belong to the employee as long as the hiring happens within this validity period.
If a referred candidate gets hired after the expiration of this Referral Validity Period, the bonus will not be provided to the referrer.
5. Each application for an agent or admin position received through other source channels different from R2W (Recruitment agencies, job portals, social media, etc.) also have a “Source Validity Period”. This source will be considered the valid source of application, If there is no other application (or reference with an active Referral Validity Period) in the last 6 months.
This source is considered valid for 6 months (for agent positions) or 12 months (for admin positions).
6. Suppose a candidate has different applications in time (even from different sources) once the Source Validity Period expires (for agent or admin positions), in that case, the next chronologically valid application registered in the system will be considered as the new valid source of application. The new valid source of the application, or the one expiring, can also be a Refer to Win application.
7. If the same candidate has been referred by two different employees or has also applied through other sources (recruitment agencies, job portals, social media, etc), the first application registered in the system (according to the date and hour displayed in the system) that is not older than 6 months, will be considered as a valid source of the application.
8. In case the referral had previously applied or been referred with a different email address, they will be considered as applications of the same candidate, meaning, the active source for the Validity Period, will be the first application not older than 6 or 12 months (for agent or administrative positions respectively).
9. All TELUS Digital team members are eligible to refer. The team members who are involved in the recruitment process are not eligible for the R2W bonus.
10. The Recruitment team, Talent Acquisition team (including the R2W team), as well as TELUS Digital Directors, and contingent workers/employees without a valid Workday ID are not eligible to receive a referral bonus.
11. The referrer is not eligible for an R2W bonus if either the referrer or the referral is in their notice period (due to resignation or dismissal).
12. Team members who refer former employees are eligible for a referral bonus only if it has been more than one (1) year since the contract end date of the referral, and if the former employee has not been actively applying through different sources. The same conditions for the Source Validity Period apply.
Referral Bonus Guidelines and Payment Conditions
1. Per definition, the referral bonus is a specific amount of money expressed in gross payment which a certain team member receives due to the successful hiring of an assigned referral.
2. The amount will be paid in one single payment after the referral’s 3rd month of employment has been completed. The bonus will be paid with the salary for the corresponding month, only if the referrer and the referral are still active employees and have no unexcused absences in the past three months.
