The Learning & Development General Manager is responsible to coordinate the training needs, advise and lead the Learning & Development team in developing and implementing standard leadership development programs.The L&D Manager must support the delivery of training curriculum and ensure the quality of service and training delivery of the L&D team.

Main Responsibilities:

Serve as a learning or development advisor/project leader in one or more of the following areas: learning, performance, feedback, coaching, leadership development, management development, transitions, inclusiveness, team development; analyze training needs to keep the processes updated and aligned with programs needs, identify development and learning needs, and recommend ways to address any gaps. Implement global learning solutions with local business needs, providing direction, planning, supervision and overall management; evaluate the effectiveness of programs, through MTM, surveys and assessments; and provide recommendations based on the findings; lead the planning, implementation and coordination of new or existing Learning & Development projects for TELUS International. These projects may be tailored to a specific region where TELUS International is located, support the local L&D facilitation team through facilitation observations, 1:1, coachings, training of new skills, etc. Other duties as needed to support the programs offered by Global Learning & Development department.

  • Knowledge in the best practices of training


Studies & Experience:

  • Graduated of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related

  • Experience with external and internal client relationship

  • Experience in working in education programs: Learning, Mentoring and Consultation

  • Experience in managing high performance teams

  • Training delivery and facilitation - Desirable
