Position Overview:

This opportunity resides in the TELUS International Finance team supporting the contact center and global operations. As a member of the TELUS International Finance team, you will be providing support to the end-to-end operations teams and will report directly to the TIUS Controller. Your focus will be on management reporting, performance variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end activities. The position also offers the opportunity to participate in numerous other various projects and initiatives. 

Specific Responsibilities May Include: 
  • Support the month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Support the monthly creation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations & cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare invoices for TIUS contracted programs and maintaining accounts receivable sub-ledger
  • Support variance analysis reporting to Financial & Operational Leadership teams and to TELUS International Corporate FP&A
  • Partner with HR, IT and Facilities to ensure personnel and capital purchasing needs are accurately reflected in our ERP software
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives

Required Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • 2-5 Years Accounting experience
  • Microsoft Excel expertise
  • Intellectual curiosity; challenges the status quo and drives for improved efficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong customer-focused approach to problem/issue resolution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve difficult or complex problems with effective solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with and influence others at all levels in the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to scope out difficult tasks & projects, set objectives and goals, develop schedules, prioritize multiple activities, and anticipate roadblocks
  • Capable of working independently in a high paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Proactive in dealing with issues independently and adaptable to change

Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • BS in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience working with ERP Software (Workday preferred)
