Description and Requirements


The Facilities Technician supporting the Facilities Team Leader in activities of maintenance and repair of movable and immovable property, planning and controlling the areas of maintenance, in order to meet the requirements of internal/external customers and ensure optimal conditions of the building.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervise minor and major repair of all buildings and non-network related equipment, perform plumbing, pumping system, carpentry, locksmithing, ceiling and painting work to maintain the building, move and relocate office furniture, make adjustments to desks, chairs and files, oversee building maintenance contract and service work, process and contract out repair requests, requisition building maintenance supplies, material and equipment, monitor inventory, load and unload supplies, create maintenance reports,  among others.

  • Microsoft Office - Intermediate.

  • English - 40 % :
    • Oral and written comprehension

  • Coordinator of Projects - Deseable

  • Budgeting - Intermediate.

  • Methods and principles of general building maintenance - Intermediate.

  • Principles of carpentry, plumbing, painting work - Intermediate.

  • Principles and practices of contract administration - Intermediate.

  • Basic mathematical principles - Intermediate.

Studies & Experience:

  • University Degree in Architect or Civil Engineer - Desirable

  • Three years of increasingly responsible general facilities maintenance experience. - Desirable
