Position Overview: 

TELUS International is seeking competitive, motivated, people who are passionate about leading-edge technology and delivering on our Customers First commitments. The Inbound Sales Representative position will provide an amazing, personalized service experience and guidance in tailoring an Internet and television bundle that works to meet the needs of the customers of a leading national technology company. This critical position will support and work to convert consumers interested in the service through inbound phone, chat and email channels. 


Specific Responsibilities May Include:
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email in a sales contact center environment
  • Educate potential customers on features and benefits of Internet and TV service offerings
  • Ability to overcome objections and drive potential customers to purchasing decision
  • Work to convert callers to paying subscribers and achieve individual sales targets
  • Follow up on customer referrals and manage outbound callbacks
  • Work with field sales partners to refer potential customers to marketing events and convert additional leads
  • Build professional relationships and rapport with potential customers in order to deliver personalized experiences
  • Guide customers through sign-up process for services
  • Work with existing tools to accurately track and manage sales leads and conversions to ensure accurate reporting and deployment of services
  • Consistently perform well across sales targets, as well as quality and efficiency metrics, within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Contribute to a diverse team
  • Maintain openness to work flexible hours as required (may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays)
  • Have ability and willingness to tend to any other tasks as assigned

Required Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • Previous inbound sales call center or face to face sales experience
  • Proficient in both English and Spanish languages (ability to speak, read, and write)
  • Familiarity with computer technology, good typing skills and knowledge of Internet and TV service offerings
  • Strong customer service orientation with an upbeat, people-minded personality and a willingness to go above and beyond
  • Solutions oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • High school education or equivalent degree

Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:
  • Previous sales experience with Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
  • Knowledge of Google Suite of products (Gmail, Docs, Drive, etc) is a plus
